Git along little Dogies! The Heartland Symphony celebrates cowboy culture for its first concert of the season. You’re sure to feel at home (on the range, that is) as the orchestra performs an exciting array of cowboy masterpieces. Joining the orchestra will be the nationally recognized cowboy poet Diane Tribitt, a rancher from Hillman, Minnesota. Ms. Tribitt continues to receive top honors at cowboy poetry festivals throughout the country. She brings to her art a degree of depth and authenticity that only a true roping and riding cowgirl could achieve.

Come and enjoy what the Heartland Symphony does best, classical masterpieces. There is nothing so profound and moving as a great work of art. As Samuel Adams once remarked, “Great art is that which pleases many and that which pleases long.” This concert features pieces that have stood the test of time, and have thus been immortalized in the classical music hall of
fame. Also, as it does every year, the HSO is proud to showcase the winners of our annual Youth Concerto Competition at this concert. Talented musicians combined with timeless classics guarantees a spectacular event.
